Worstead Church

of England Primary School

Let All That You Do Be Done In Love.

Welcome

We are a busy, friendly and successful Church of England primary school with lots going on every day, known locally as simply 'Worstead School'. This is shown in our logo which shows the Worstead Ram, a symbol which recollects the importance of weaving and the historic wool trade in the area. We have been fulfilling a Christian vision of education for all since 1845, and live out our school ethos of 'Let all that you do be done in love.' (1 Corinthians 16:14)

Our children come from the small village of Worstead itself in rural North Norfolk, on the edge of the Broads, and the surrounding area. Our school has a real family feel and parents/carers bring their children to us from the wider area to become part of that family. This website aims to give you a taster of the school, as well as providing up-to-date information for parents, pupils and the wider community. The school offers breakfast club from 07:45 and after school care until 17:30, sports and arts clubs, and a very broad extra-curricular provision including Forest School and our award-winning school choir. Every year we welcome around 15 new children to our school in Robins, our Reception class.

We hope that you enjoy your visit to our website, and that you find the information you are looking for. Please feel free to contact the school direct with any queries you may have. Weekly newsletters are emailed out to families, and our outdoor school noticeboard for parents also has the latest information in large format. The latest prospectus can be picked up from the school office if you would like to learn more or share your interest in Worstead School with others.

With kind regards,

Nick Read,
