Online safety is a huge area of confusion for parents, as it changes so rapidly. In many ways your child(ren) may know more about the online world and the latest apps than you do. It is certainly known that many everyday apps or games that have a genuine reason to exist, also have a side to be aware of: e.g. the Roblox game played by many children has an unfiltered chat channel. At present the Internet Matters website is a real goldmine of up-to-date information if you are worried (or just wondering) about your family's online life.
