It is crucial that through our Childhood Curriculum we encourage lifelong physical and mental health for Worstead children. 

 

Many of these opportunities to promote this approach are seen within our extra-curricular activities ('Exciting Opportunities') section, and our school is a place where children can find their passion by the time they leave us for high school. We believe that there is room in every child's life to develop healthy interests, hobbies and pastimes, whatever they may turn out to be!

 

We choose to use our Sports Premium funding to provide free after-school sports clubs every night for our children. Almost every one of our children attends at least one club; the aim is for them to attend two.

 

There is also an after-school Forest School Club, which operates year-round, including in the dark and rain. Children can often be heard squealing with excitement from the darkness at the bottom of the field!
