We had a great time this morning when we joined the children at Worstead Pre-School for their sports morning!

Robin's Rhyme Time!

We have been very inspired by Mork the Alien this week and his rhyming words. Today we put on a special show for him smiley

Christmas time with the Robins!

Panto Time!

What a brilliant trip to Norwich Theatre Royal today. Sleeping Beauty was amazing and we all had such a great time. I am very proud of how well behaved all of the children in Robins were. Fantastic!

Fire Fighters Visit

A big thank you to the fire fighters who came to talk to us this week. We learnt so much and we loved getting into the fire engine!

Enrichment Week

We had a letter from Father Christmas this week to let us know that Rudolph has gone missing! We have enjoyed making reindeer cakes for him, making posters and writing letters back to Father Christmas. We have also been on the Polar Express to visit the North Pole but we couldn't find him. We got to drink yummy hot chocolate and eat cakes while we were there!

We really hope he comes back soon!

UPDATE: We had a letter on Friday from Father Christmas to let us know that Rudolph has returned to the North Pole! We are so pleased! Well done to all the children for their help this week. no

Father Christmas came to visit today!

A huge thank you to the Friends of Worstead for our tickets for the Panto at Norwich Theatre Royal. What a super present! We can't wait.

Our picnic with Mr Grinling today! We loved making sandwiches to share with him.

What a brilliant Family Cafe we had this week!

Thank you for coming along to our class and joining in with our games. The children love showing their family the classroom and what they have been learning.

Robins Class enjoyed the Karate taster session this week . . .

Henry Blogg Museum and Cromer Lifeboat Station.

Year 1 were a credit to the school on our trip to Cromer. They were very well behaved, engaged and asking lots of questions throughout. A big thank you to all the staff and volunteers in Cromer who made the day possible.

Year 1 have been using the Numicon in lots of different ways to support their number work.

Reception have been loving Forest School . . .

We have had such a brilliant start to the new school year in Robins Class! smiley

The children who have started in Reception have settled so well and have got into the swing of school life and routines very quickly. I have been impressed with their resilience, determination and all round 'have a go' attitude.

Likewise, the Year 1 children have adapted well to their new roles. In Year 1, children start working from the National Curriculum. It can be a big step from the Early Years Foundation Stage but I am really pleased with their positive attitude and the way they have approached their work and new challenges.

I am really proud of the children in our class and the great start they have made to the year. As always, if you have any questions please don't hesitate to come and have a chat.

Miss Coby, Mrs Greavner and Mrs Horton.
